PEGASUS ARTIST OF THE MONTH – SEPTEMBER 2019
Kristine Behrns Carroll
From the artist:
Offstreet photography, Natural light only, I frame the way I see.
Lifetime Kodak neighbor, BFA ‘81, Oregon State Botany darkroom 78-81, University of Washington 87-96 Color darkroom, first computer graphics studio on campus, Fstopcafe LLC @ Bainbridge Farmer’s Market 2002-2019
Digital cameras match today’s pace and, for me, return to the medium’s 19th-century origins when glass plate negatives were processed in the field, the image ‘locked’ at the moment of exposure.
Fine art photographs compliment any space, and make wonderful gifts. Mine are printed on luster Fuji Crystal Archive as traditional wet prints or 100% cotton rag on an Epson 3880.
All featured artworks from this exhibition are available for viewing and sale on the walls of Pegasus Coffee House from September 1 to 30, and also for online sale (with the addition of a packaging and shipping charge unique to each work) – please make all non-local purchase inquiries via the Contact Pegasus Page here at pegasusbainbridge.com.
